If you are trapped in a canyon as your right hand is stuck between a boulder and the narrow slit wall, what will you do? Will you give up your life by suicide to end the suffering? Or willing to cut off your hand for a chance of survival?
I've just finished reading "
127 hours between a rock and a hard place". It had inspired me stay strong at whatever difficulties and circumstances. And the most important value is to survive. Do not ever attempt to end your life.

This true story was happened in 2003. A young retired engineer named
Aron Ralston is an experienced mountain climber, an active outdoorsman. When he was canyoning in Utah, he accidentally moved a about half ton boulder and it crashed his right hand. He was trapped there with scarce food, water supply, experienced extreme weather of canyon, hot in the daytime and shivering cold at night. He was being challenged psychologically and physically. It was a miracle that he survived for 5 days, trapped for 127 hours, then he made up his mind to amputate his arm to free and save himself.
